The chairman of the party "A Just Russia - For Truth" spoke about the irrational use of food products.
According to Sergei Mironov, stores should be required to have free shelves with products that will be used by those in need.
The corresponding text of the document, which the party leader sent to the Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov, is at the disposal of the TASS agency.
According to Mironov’s initiative, every store should have shelves for food sharing, on which expired goods will be displayed.
This measure will help to use products rationally and at the same time help low-income groups of the population, provided that they present the relevant documents.
The chairman of the party "A Just Russia - For Truth" emphasized that it is necessary to determine which products can be given out free of charge, as well as the criteria for their evaluation.
He also noted that these products should not be expired.
