A summer cottage is a place that encourages citizens to build various objects.

In some cases, unauthorized construction can lead to a number of unpleasant consequences, including a fine.

People who built an unauthorized structure in their dachas may be punished with a fine. RIA Novosti reports details with reference to Olga Chirikova, senior lecturer at the Department of Civil Law Disciplines at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

It is noted that, for example, the construction of a bathhouse consisting of five floors may entail a fine. Its size may be from 2 to 5 thousand rubles for individuals.

According to Chirikova, legal entities face a larger fine – from 500 thousand to 1 million rubles. An object erected illegally may result in a fine for officials – from 20 to 50 thousand rubles.
