Quite recently, a survey was conducted on the frequency of taxi orders by residents of the Russian Federation.

Two out of five Russian citizens use taxis for trips within the city. Details are reported in the results of a VTsIOM study.
It is noted that the majority of citizens order taxis for trips within the city – 38%.
According to the survey, there are citizens who do not use taxis - 8%, the number of those who prefer taxis several times in 6 months - 36%, several times a month - 27%, 1 time in 7 days - 10%.
They also noted that most people order a taxi in an app on their phone - 73%, 47% of citizens order a taxi through the service. A small number of people catch a car near the roadway - 1%, in a chat or social networks - 4%. The remaining people look for a free car on the street - 6%.
The study also states that 60% of respondents do not order a taxi because of the high cost, 1% of people believe that they do not need this service, 11% refuse a taxi because of their dislike of the driver, 12% do not trust drivers, 4% of people have their own transport, 19% get tired of waiting, 4% do not choose a taxi because of the unpleasant atmosphere.
