A specialist explained why YouTube stopped working completely for some users in Russia.
IT expert Pavel Myasoedov shared a comment on this topic.
In a conversation with NEWS.ru, the specialist suggested that at this stage, systems that limit the operation of the video service are being tested.
He stated that users in the Russian Federation will have to suffer until experts finish testing.
Myasoedov believes that what is happening now with YouTube does not look like a total block. In that case, some statements on this topic would have been heard, the expert believes.
He also admitted that after testing the restrictive systems, there is a possibility that the video hosting will again work stably, and all restrictions may be lifted.
The specialist added that the existing tools are used to block the operation of browser versions of YouTube more effectively.
Myasoedov also said that the Roskomnadzor system is most likely used to limit the speed of the service.
