An unknown man transported a tiger cub and left it to spend the night in a five-story building.
As RIA Novosti journalists were told by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Novosibirsk Region, law enforcement officers intend to organize an investigation into the incident.
The man's identity has not yet been established; the incident is being investigated by the internal affairs agencies and Rosprirodnadzor, whose goal is to find out the conditions in which the rare animal is kept.
Circumstances of the case
The appearance of a tiger cub in a five-story building in Novosibirsk became known from publications that appeared in local Telegram channels.
According to the intercom camera recordings, this is how it happened: On Friday night, an unknown man took a tiger out of a box hidden in the trunk of a car and led it on a leash to the entrance of the house.
As eyewitnesses specified, the suspect left the rented apartment with the animal in the morning.
