A representative of the company "ProService Taimyr" explained that only beef and chicken remain on the schoolchildren's menu.
The decision is connected with several reasons, Severny Gorod emphasizes in a report from a meeting of the company’s representatives with the school’s parents.
Firstly, as it is emphasized, pork is less safe due to the peculiarities of animal husbandry and the risk of infection.
Secondly, beef and chicken contain more protein. The company also took into account the religious characteristics of children's nutrition.
Rospotrebnadzor clarified that pork is included in the school diet, but it is prepared much less frequently.
The company said that school meals in Norilsk are safe and take into account the interests of all children.
