Acting Chairman of the Regional State Committee for Emergency Situations Kirill Pervov shared this story with RIA Novosti .
According to Pervov, on November 24, a local resident wanted to take a shortcut and decided to ride a bicycle across the Ufa River. However, the ice on the reservoir was only 2 centimeters thick, and the man fell into the river.
Divers launched a search for the man and initially found only his bicycle.
The dog belonging to the deceased showed great loyalty. Every day he came to the place where the man died and tried to run out onto the ice, although he was constantly returned home.
It is noted that today divers discovered the body of the deceased and are raising it to the surface.
The man's relatives are going to take the faithful dog in.
