The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Irkutsk Region reported that in Angarsk a local resident threw a dog, which he took from a shelter, out of a window.
It is emphasized that the animal fell from a height of four floors. It died.
Law enforcement officials stated on their official Telegram channel: "The dog fell into the hands of the criminal several years ago. It was taken from a shelter."
The accused himself explained that the dog ran away from him around the apartment and jumped out of the window on its own.

However, as law enforcement officials explained, these testimonies differ from the testimonies of eyewitnesses.
In particular, witnesses of the incident who were interviewed explained that the man threw the dog from the fourth floor.
Law enforcement officials initiated an investigation into this incident.
At present, the said incident is also under the control of the prosecutorial supervision authorities.
