Gastroenterologist Olga Pomoinetskaya listed the main mistakes that Russians make in the morning in her Telegram channel.
Firstly, those who drink water in the morning often do it incorrectly. Drinking cold liquid is dangerous for the body because it can cause spasms.
However, those who never drink water on an empty stomach are at even greater risk. This is especially true for people who suffer from constipation.
Due to problems with stool, toxins are not removed from the body, but are reabsorbed into it. This means that they continue to continuously poison the body for years.
And ordinary water can cope with this problem, since it helps to start the digestion process and activate the production of bile.
The gastroenterologist warned: if a person has not drunk warm water before, it should be introduced into the diet gradually. Start with 100 milliliters and eventually reach the norm, which is 200 milliliters.
Also, Pomoinetskaya reminded, it is important to drink water in small sips and not start having breakfast earlier than 15-20 minutes after that.
