In Khabarovsk Krai, the involvement of foreigners in some sectors of the economy will be limited.
The region's governor, Dmitry Demeshin, wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
According to the head of Khabarovsk Krai, a decision was made to ban the hiring of migrants with patents.
In particular, in 2025, foreign citizens will not be allowed to work as taxi drivers and public transport drivers, including intercity ones.
It is also planned that the new measures will affect the employment of migrants in the energy supply sector, as well as in employment services.
Demeshin explained these measures by the fact that the above-mentioned professions imply constant communication with people, which, in turn, concerns issues of security in Khabarovsk Krai.
The head of the region noted that without additional labor force it is difficult for the economy to breathe, but its development should be facilitated primarily through its own personnel.
