A girl from Tatarstan almost fell for the trick of a swindler who used a new fraudulent scheme.
A fraudster tried to steal a Russian woman's money using a "call from the other world."

Fraudsters already have hundreds of ways in their arsenal to steal honestly earned money from Russians.
This time, the attackers decided to add mystical features to their scheme.
A resident of Tatarstan received a call from a woman who introduced herself as her deceased mother.
The girl didn't believe it at first. But the caller convinced the Russian woman that scientists had allegedly created a system in a Tibetan temple that established a connection between the worlds of the living and the dead.
At the same time, the scammer stated that the system was expensive and that 20 thousand rubles had to be transferred to make a new call.
This story convinced the girl. The fraudster managed to inspire the Russian woman, who told her husband everything.
But the husband explained to his wife that such a system does not exist.
The scheme has been used by scammers since the beginning of 2024.
