Former YouTube CEO Dies

Former CEO of American video hosting site YouTube Susan Wojcicki has passed away.

Wojcicki is reported to have died at the age of fifty-six.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai wrote on social media site X: "I am saddened by the loss of my close friend Susan. She battled cancer for two years."

As Pichaiv emphasized, the deceased had a huge impact on Google services during her entrepreneurial activities, among other things.

In his letter, Google CEO also expressed condolences to the family of the deceased.

Susan Wojcicki rented out her garage to the founders of Google in 1998.

A year later, the entrepreneur was appointed to the position of the first manager of this transnational company.

In addition, the deceased supported Google's acquisition of the video hosting site YouTube. She served as YouTube's CEO from 2014 to 2023.
