The Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow has passed a sentence against a State Duma deputy and former member of the Supreme Council of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR) of the Russian Federation.
It is emphasized that the politician was convicted of fraud on an especially large scale.
The court ruling states: “To grant the investigator’s motion to select a preventive measure against the defendant,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
As a punishment, the court chose to imprison the accused.

It is noted that the State Duma deputy may face imprisonment for ten years.
At present, employees of the authorized bodies are carrying out investigative measures in this case in order to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
