The Federation Council approved this law at a plenary session on Friday.
Bailiffs will be able to use firearms, pepper spray, stun guns, rubber truncheons and handcuffs.
According to the law, in the event of injury or death of a citizen, the bailiff is responsible for notifying the prosecutor and relatives.
Earlier, the Russian National Guard proposed giving deputy chairmen of the Central Bank, their advisers and other employees the right to carry weapons.
They will be able to receive a service pistol or a submachine gun, according to the project.
