There is an acute shortage of janitors on the Russian labour market.
According to the results of research by hh.ru, janitors were ranked first among the most in-demand specialists.
The list of in-demand professions also includes turners, welders, doctors, couriers and cleaners, TASS emphasizes.
Experts analyzed the indicator reflecting how many active resumes there are per vacancy.
An index of less than 1.9 indicates an acute shortage of personnel.
According to hh.ru, the index for janitors was only 0.7, while for turners, welders, and sales consultants the index was 1.1.
The index for debt collectors, cooks and pastry chefs reaches 1.2. Mechanics, plumbers and store managers have an index of 1.5, doctors and painters – 1.6, and for commodity experts and merchandisers – 1.8.
Experts emphasize that the shortage of personnel is connected with the low popularity of a number of professions.
