Aviation experts have reported that the main cause of the Superjet 100 crash near Kolomna has been determined.
According to authorized persons, the aircraft did not crash due to engine failure.
The researchers noted: “We have identified the priority cause, but it is still at the processing stage,” as reported by TASS .
It is emphasized that the version of the Superjet 100 crash is planned to be worked out by eliminating other possible assumptions.
A catastrophic incident
The fact that the Superjet 100 aircraft had crashed was first reported on July 12.
It was specified that the plane crash was recorded near Kolomna.
The Superjet 100 was conducting a test flight after taking off from the plant in Lukhovitsy, where repair work was being carried out on it.
The aircraft was supposed to arrive at Vnukovo airport, but crashed. The three crew members on board died as a result of the accident.
