A construction expert explained how to identify a fraudulent electrician.

The comment was shared by the founder and CEO of the company "GLAVSNAB" Fedor Vasiliev.

He reported that unscrupulous electricians begin to deceive clients already at the stage of purchasing wires and components, Izvestia writes.

The master can buy a wire of the wrong cross-section or material, which will fit the footage, but will not withstand a heavy load. The electrician will put the difference in his pocket.

In addition, unscrupulous craftsmen replace high-quality components (RCDs, terminals, sleeves, etc.) with Chinese analogues.

Vasiliev advised not to take the word of people who undertake repairs or installation of wiring.

First of all, you should control the purchase of materials. It is imperative to demand receipts where all items are clearly indicated.

Also, you shouldn’t trust a repairman who asks for 5 thousand rubles to repair an outlet or doesn’t even mention the full cost of the service.

Concluding an agreement and carefully studying all its points will also help reduce risks, the specialist summed up.
