Turkey has returned to the discussion of a ban on alcohol in Turkish all-inclusive hotels.
This is due to news about the introduction of restrictions in Spanish resorts, which allow drinking only a certain amount of alcohol.
Orkhan Sanjar, coordinator of the tour operator Pegas Touristik for the CIS, told RIA Novosti that Turkey does not plan to introduce these restrictions.
He noted that there is no problem with alcohol abuse in Turkish hotels.
There will be no restrictions on alcohol in Turkish hotels, he added.
Sanjar also explained that the restrictions in Spain were related to British tourists who abused alcohol.
Antalya Mayor's Tourism Advisor Osman Ayik also confirmed that a complete abandonment of the all-inclusive system in Turkey is not under discussion.
However, new variations of the system are being considered in response to tourist demands and rising prices.
