Automotive expert Maxim Kadakov told RIA Novosti in a commentary what operations must be carried out in the midst of the summer heat.

According to the specialist, modern cars are actually designed to withstand temperatures up to 45 degrees Celsius. That is, our heat does not pose a danger to vehicles.

However, at extremely high temperatures the instrument panel may start to melt. To prevent this, it is necessary to install a special screen on the glass.

Also, do not leave bottles of water in a visible place in the car, as they can act as a lens in direct sunlight.

The expert also urged people not to forget to monitor the condition of the cooling system and top it up with freon in a timely manner.
