Legal entities involved in passenger transportation need to update their first aid kits.

In Russia, the mandatory contents of a car first aid kit have changed since September 1.

In order to avoid fines, its composition must be updated by legal entities involved in the transportation of passengers, writes Lenta.ru with reference to auto expert Petr Shkumatov.

He explained that ordinary drivers will not be held liable for not having a new first aid kit.

They have the right to use old first aid kits until their expiration date – September 1, 2027.

Legal entities may be fined for failure to comply with this requirement.

According to Shkumatov, a fine may be imposed for carrying out transportation that does not meet road safety requirements.

The expert also advises those involved in cargo transportation to update their first aid kit.

Shkumatov added that the updated first aid kit, among other things, should include instructions on how to provide first aid.
