A court in St. Petersburg has decided to recover from a hired killer the amount he received for the massacre of a businessman.
This was reported on the Telegram channel of the united press service of the city courts.
Evgeny Popov was hired to collect a fictitious debt.
The person who ordered the crime created a fake receipt, according to which the St. Petersburg businessman allegedly owed him 10 million rubles.
Popov and his assistants were ordered to force the businessman to sign a fictitious document.
The criminals kidnapped the businessman, forced him to sign a loan agreement, and then killed him.
For this Popov received a monetary reward, but was subsequently brought to trial.
The killer was forced to return 628,516 rubles. The court recognized these funds as a fee for the massacre of the businessman. The money will go to the state.
