It is getting warmer in the tropics, but the temperature change is happening very slowly. RIA Novosti reports the details with reference to Mikhail Lokoshchenko, the chief employee of the Department of Meteorology and Climatology of the Geography Faculty of Moscow State University.
It is noted that due to slow changes, South Asia and West Africa will remain habitable and livable.
According to Lokoshchenko, strong warming will be noticeable only in some places, that is, in the middle and high latitudes.
He noted that the situation in the tropics located near the equator will be the opposite: warming will occur extremely slowly. It will be weak.
It is added that the situation should be assessed calmly and without panic.
