Clean Arctic volunteers clean up trash in SVO participants' village

Thanks to the Minister for Arctic Development, the idea of cleaning up the territories where the SVO fighters live came up.

Thanks to this, the places become more comfortable.

In the Murmansk region, participants of the ecological project "Clean Arctic" went to the settlement of Sputnik to clean the area of garbage. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the project and its director Andrei Nagibin.

It is noted that Sputnik is a military town.

According to Nagibin, the idea of cleaning up the territories was quickly picked up. Now the embankment has acquired a beautiful appearance. Houses are also starting to be renovated.

The press service noted that about 30 people are involved in the cleanup. People are engaged in the improvement of the village, removing garbage in large quantities. In one day, they collected 3 tons of waste.

It was also noted that activists from different regions will also clean up the closed village of Pechenga, the shores of Lake Kakkurinjärvi, and some rivers.

The Clean Arctic project aims to clean Arctic territories from waste.
