Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Boris Chernyshov proposed holding a lottery among newborns.

The project will become a powerful factor in supporting families who want to have children.

The draw is monthly to support the birth rate, the deputy explained. RIA Novosti reports this.

He explained that 10 apartments, 100 cars and 1000 sets of household appliances will be raffled off every month.

Previously, similar initiatives were carried out among newborns in the Leningrad region and the city of Khabarovsk.
