Psychiatrist Vasily Shurov criticized the fortune teller who convinced the parents of the death of their missing son.
Later, the young man was found alive in a hospital in St. Petersburg.
Shurov noted that responsibility for such cases lies with television, which “broadcasts nonsense,” as well as with scammers who deceive people, writes NEWS.ru.
The case in Tatarstan, where a fortune teller convinced parents that their missing son was dead, is no exception.
The doctor noticed that the parents were desperate and believed her.
However, the young man was later found alive in a hospital in St. Petersburg.
He stressed that the fraudster simply extracted money from people without giving anything in return except empty words.
Shnurov said that among fortune tellers and various magicians, there are most people with mental disorders and scammers.
