Black boxes found at SSJ-100 crash site in Moscow region

Emergency services reported that black boxes were found at the crash site of the SSJ-100 airliner in the Moscow region.

It is emphasized that the instruments extracted from the wreckage of the crashed aircraft do not have significant damage.

It is also emphasized that experts intend to begin studying the information stored in the memory of the black boxes, as reported by RIA Novosti .

In particular, a flight data recording device and a cockpit voice recorder were found.

As explained by employees of the authorized services, the decoding of the black boxes will be carried out at a research institute near Moscow.

Today, July 12, the SSJ-100 aircraft crashed during its test flight.

It was stated that the plane took off three hours after undergoing maintenance. It was supposed to land at Vnukovo Airport.

There were three crew members on board the airliner. All of them died.
