The 2017 world champion in relay racing, Anton Babikov, has announced that he may end his career.
The reason was problems with the cartridges, due to which he could not show good results.
Thus, at the International Club Biathlon League Cup in the mass start, Babikov constantly missed and took 23rd place. This was reported by Match TV .
He emphasized that the cartridges produce unpredictable results: “It flies wherever it wants.”
According to the athlete, it is not yet known when the coach’s promise to bring cartridges will be fulfilled.
I’ll quit if there aren’t any suitable cartridges,” Babikov said.
Two-time Olympic medalist Alexander Loginov also speaks about the shortage of cartridges. He noted that before the season they checked up to 20 batches of cartridges, but now no more than three or four.
