Russian actor and star of the TV series “Interns” Ivan Okhlobystin lashed out at his colleagues who left Russia.
According to the artist, the stars who left their homeland had to remain at their work posts until the very end.
Okhlobystin explained: “A doctor takes the Hippocratic oath, and it is the duty of artists to help their people in difficult times. To console, to entertain,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
The star of “Interns” voiced this opinion while accompanying a group of children from Donetsk who arrived on a visit to “Fort Island”.
Critical remark
The actor also pointed out the fact that his colleagues did not act very decently, since they have “a kind of pastoral mission.”
However, the artist noted that acting one way or another is a personal choice for each person.
As the actor added, if a person’s actions do not include “blatant betrayal,” there is no point in judging them harshly.
Okhlobystin pointed out: “Some people feel just as good abroad as, for example, I feel good at home.”
