Singer Glukoza fined for using banned substances

Russian singer Natalia Chistyakova-Ionova, known as Glukoza, was fined 5 thousand rubles by the court due to an incident at the airport.

The singer's name is once again associated with drug use.

A justice of the peace in Moscow's Kryukovo district fined the singer 5,000 rubles under the article on drug use, RIA Novosti reports.

Glukoza was issued a fine after she was stopped at Sheremetyevo airport in a state of apparent drug intoxication.

By the decision of the justice of the peace, Chistyakova-Ionova was found guilty of committing an administrative offence under Part 1 of Article 6.9 of the Code of Administrative Offences.

The court sentenced the singer to an administrative penalty in the form of a fine of 5 thousand rubles.

The report emphasizes that a police officer in the Sheremetyevo airport hall discovered external signs of drug intoxication in the artist.

Glucose refused a medical examination and was fined.
