The famous Russian actor Igor Luchikhin died in Sevastopol.
He died after a rehearsal at the Boris Lavrenev Drama Theatre of the Black Sea Fleet.
The institution commented on the actor’s sudden death on VKontakte.
The report emphasizes that yesterday morning Luchikhin completed a rehearsal and felt well, but in the evening he died.
The actor passed away at the age of 62.
On the day of the rehearsal, Luchikhin did not complain of any health problems, but later died.
The cause of death of the famous artist has not yet been reported.
Luchikhin studied at the Leningrad State Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography. He then graduated from the Yaroslavl Theatre Institute.
He worked in puppet theaters in Penza, Ulyanovsk, and Kamchatka. He also served in the Tula Drama Theater.
Luchikhin is known to the general public for his roles in the films “Solntsepek” and “The Road to Home”, as well as in the TV series “Citizen Chief” and “The Oligarch’s Wife”.
