The decision of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation regarding the leader of Rammstein has become known.
Till Lindemann was ordered to pay more than 67 million rubles for the cancellation of a concert in Tver.
The text of the court’s decision, as reported by TASS , states: “The total amount of the claim includes 635,400 euros (about 67.17 million rubles).
Lindemann will also have to pay interest for the period from August 31, 2021 to April 27, 2022.
Fine for Lindemann
The musician signed an agreement with Prime Marketing to participate in the McLarin for the Motherland festival. The event was scheduled for Tver in August 2021.
However, Lindemann suddenly cancelled the performance. However, he did not return the money for the services already paid for.
In addition, the festival organizer transferred 10 million rubles to producer Lindemann for an advertising campaign in the Tver region. However, the money was not returned.
According to the court's decision, Lindemann and his producer are obliged to compensate for the losses caused by the cancellation of the concert, pay fines and interest for breach of contract.
