The 75-year-old singer answered the question about returning to the stage in an aphoristic manner.
Alla Pugacheva explained what stops her from performing on the big stage.
The People's Artist of the USSR shared her comment in a conversation with Lifestyle Baltic. The interview is available on the publication's YouTube channel.
Pugacheva visited Laima Vaikule's "Rendezvous" festival in Jurmala. The audience was expecting Alla Borisovna to perform at least one song.
"While something is shooting somewhere, the birds are silent. I can't do this, I can't overcome this barrier," Pugacheva replied.
The singer said that she will perform in front of the public when she has the desire and inspiration.
The singer noted that she has not appeared on the big stage for more than 15 years. But she assured that she can still sing.
