The court sided with Lyubov Uspenskaya in her dispute with Philip Kirkorov.
The stars quarreled over an interview in which the king of Russian pop made harsh comments about the singer.
Uspenskaya's claim was considered by the Tagansky Court of Moscow, RIA Novosti reports.
He took the singer's side, but collected from Kirkorov a sum that was not what the artist had expected.
Philip Bedrosovich must pay the plaintiff 90 thousand rubles, not 10 million rubles.
In addition, the court ordered the performer to refute the information said about Uspenskaya.
In an interview with the Muz-TV channel, Kirkorov called his colleague a “beggar” who “begs for clothes and gifts.”
Uspenskaya was offended by this, so she decided to sue the king of pop.
At the same time, the artist emphasized that for her, it is not money that matters, but rather the protection of honor, the restoration of reputation, and holding a colleague accountable.
