Kristina Orbakaite called her performance in St. Petersburg a “farewell concert.”
The singer said that she does not plan to tour in Russia in the foreseeable future.
In an interview with RTVI, the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation shared that she wanted to “tour around Russia” with concerts in 2024, but it didn’t work out.
The last time Orbakaite performed in Russia was in March of this year. Then she gave a concert in St. Petersburg. Now the celebrity calls it "farewell".
The singer emphasized that she was always there for her fans, even during the most difficult periods for the country.
Orbakaite noted that in Russia “times are always difficult.” According to the artist, she experienced all these troubles together with the Russian public.
But now the star's tour schedule does not include Russian cities. In the future, she does not plan to perform in her homeland: "I decided that we will meet someday in a better life."
