Masha Rasputina commented on Laima Vaikule's attacks against Russia.
According to the singer, the Soviet and Latvian performer should take her words back and stop insulting the country that gave her fame and money.
In a conversation with the portal aif.ru, Rasputina called Vaikule’s behavior “rudeness.”
The artist shared her impressions of the statements of her former colleague on the Russian stage: “I listened and thought: God, where is the conscience?”
The singer does not understand how Vaikule could say anything against Russia, where she established herself as a singer.
Rasputina noted that in her “native Baltics” things were going very badly for the artist.
She emphasized that this is now practically a well-known fact, which has even been confirmed by the concert organizers.
Russia gave Vaikule a chance, Rasputina believes. But the artist did not appreciate it, and began to scold the country and the people who made her famous.
