Stas Piekha, who is the grandson of the famous Soviet singer Edita Piekha, became addicted to drugs in his youth. The addiction led to the popular performer having a heart attack at the age of 34.
In 2022, the singer claimed that he had not used illegal substances for 7 years. He believes that he has managed to overcome his addiction.
However, his mother stated on the TV show that she has a different point of view. The singer emphasized that, in her opinion, there are no former drug addicts.
