The Russian comedian told his followers about life in New York.

In a video available on YouTube, Ilya Koval, who moved to the United States, shared his observations about life abroad.

He says he spends between $50 and $100 a week on groceries, though the comedian noted that food is not his biggest expense when living in New York.

Koval prefers to shop for groceries at Trader Joe's. This chain of stores, according to the blogger, sells inexpensive goods that are also natural.

For example, a dozen eggs in the store cost $4, which is equivalent to 370 rubles. Bacon can be purchased for $1 more - for $5 (465 rubles).

Koval also listed the prices of other products he buys. Pasta costs an average of $1, or 93 rubles, cucumbers - $2.50 (270 rubles).

The comedian also talked about the prices of cheese. Regular and smoked products cost him $4.
