People's Artist of the RSFSR Alexander Zbruev will not be able to perform in the near future.
The press service of the Lenkom Mark Zakharov Theatre reported that he continues treatment in the hospital.
Artis is in hospital for planned treatment, they added, RIA Novosti writes.
Earlier, it was reported on social networks that Zbruev would appear on stage in the play “The Cherry Orchard” on October 22.
The cast for the October 22 performance was reportedly published. However, the information was posted on the theater's website on October 3.
Zbruev is currently undergoing planned treatment. He is in hospital.
It is known about the artist’s condition that he is being examined after undergoing a major operation.
Alexander Zbruev, a native Muscovite, was born on March 31, 1938.
He graduated from the Shchukin Theatre School in 1961. After graduation, he was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Lenin Komsomol Theatre.
Since 1990 he has been a leading artist of the Moscow State Theatre "Lenkom Mark Zakharov".
