It has become known that a talented composer has passed away.
At the age of 54, member of the Union of Russian Composers and the Union of Moscow Composers Pavel Karmanov passed away.

The cause of the composer's death is not indicated. The association of which Karmanov was a member during his life expresses its deepest condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased.
Biography of the composer
Pavel Karmanov was born in 1970 in Bratsk. Already in the early 90s, he declared himself as a bright representative of post-avant-gardism in music.
From 2000 to 2007 he was a member of the group "Polite Refusal", where he played the piano and flute.
Karmanov is known as the author of music for films and TV series:
- "Big" by V. Todorovsky;
- "The Soldier's Decameron" by A. Proshkin;
- “Arena” (“Gladiatrix”) by T. Bekmambetov;
- "Multiplying Sorrow" by O. Fesenko and others.
