They wanted to kill Alla Pugacheva and Masha Rasputina.
This was stated by businessman Gennady Snustikov, who was nicknamed the “godfather” of Russian show business.
On the air of the show “Let Them Talk” on Channel One, the businessman said that Pugacheva and Rasputina could have been killed in the 1990s.
An assassination attempt was planned on the artists on the orders of some “serious people.”
Snustikov emphasized that he actually saved the singer from death.
The customers had already found the contractors and were ready to give the go-ahead.
"I had to intervene and say: 'No, that won't happen. We don't need talc stuff,'" the entrepreneur said.
At the same time, Snustikov did not specify why they wanted to kill Pugacheva and Rasputin.
But with his story he hinted that the murder of singer Igor Talkov in October 1991 was not an accident.
The investigation also confirmed that Talkov was not shot by pure accident.
The singer could have been "ordered", but it has been impossible to clarify all the details of what happened for more than thirty years. Talkov's killer is hiding in Israel.
