The accounts of Artem Chekalin's company were frozen as part of the case.
This is stated in the case materials, which RIA Novosti has reviewed.
It is noted that we are talking about a company that, according to documentation, was engaged in the sale of cosmetic products.
It is noted that Chekalin owned 70% of this company.
Moreover, decisions to suspend operations began to be made as early as 2023. The last time operations were suspended was in October 2024 due to failure to submit tax returns.
Let us recall that a court case is underway against the Chekalin spouses, alleging that they used forged documents to withdraw approximately 250 million rubles from their accounts; they have been charged with the incident.
It is noted that previously this amount was considered a tax arrear, but after the spouses divorced it became a debt.
