New details have emerged about the high-profile case of the “marathon queen”.
The case was submitted for consideration to the Savelovsky Court of Moscow.
RIA Novosti journalists learned about this from the press service of the Moscow court.
It is specified that a case has been opened against Elena Blinovskaya under the following articles:
- non-payment of taxes;
- money laundering;
- illegal circulation of payment instruments.
The relevant volumes of the case have been received by the Savelovsky Court of Moscow, which will soon set a date for the preliminary hearing.
Circumstances of the case
Let us recall that the "marathon queen" became a defendant in the case in 2023. The blogger and her husband evaded paying taxes totaling 906 million rubles.
However, the couple only legalized part of the above funds - 716 million rubles.
A criminal case has also been opened against Andrey Blinovsky for aiding in tax evasion. He has been placed on the FedEx wanted list for failing to appear before the prosecutor to review the case materials.
The blogger's husband is currently in the SVO zone, and the "marathon queen" herself is in a pretrial detention center for violating the terms of her house arrest.
