Why does a smartphone instantly run out of battery even if you don't use it?

Sometimes smartphone owners notice a strange phenomenon when the device loses charge even when it was just lying on the table.

Let's figure out why your phone's battery may run out if you haven't used it.

Why does the smartphone discharge

There are various reasons why your phone may be running low on battery. One of the main reasons is that you have too many apps running that you may have forgotten about but they are still running.

That's why, when you're not using your smartphone, it's important to turn off:

  • mobile internet and Wi-Fi;
  • auto-brightness, auto-rotate screen, NFC and other functions that you don’t need at the moment;
  • all applications open in the background (there is a special button for them that allows you to close all programs at once).

If you don't want your device to run out of power quickly, then you can and should use the power saving mode. And if you're not going to make or receive calls from others in the near future, "Airplane Mode" will come to the rescue, significantly reducing power consumption.
