This information was shared by the Guardian newspaper. The corresponding changes were announced at a security forum held at the social network's headquarters in Dublin.
It is noted that TikTok's board has expressed concerns about the mental health of teenagers who often abuse beauty filters.
In this regard, persons who have not reached the age of majority will be prohibited from artificially correcting their appearance. This includes enlarging the eyes and lips, as well as smoothing and changing the skin tone in the editor.
