A specialist explained why you shouldn’t charge your phone to 100%.

The comment was shared by technical expert Ilya Kazakov.

In a conversation with the portal " Gazeta.Ru ", the specialist advised not to charge the smartphone battery to 100%.

Modern batteries are designed for a certain number of cycles, so it is better not to allow them to be fully charged.

If the user always charges to “a hundred”, then the number of these cycles decreases faster, i.e. the battery will become unusable sooner.

The expert does not recommend leaving the phone to charge overnight. It is both dangerous and harmful to the battery.

Also, do not use your smartphone while it is charging. This may cause overvoltage of the battery.

Heat is considered the battery's main enemy. That's why it is not recommended to leave the phone in the sun.

As for charging, the case needs to be removed. It holds the heat that is generated during the process.

To charge, you must use only a charger compatible with your phone. Otherwise, the gadget will charge slowly or even overheat.
