The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan has come up with a proposal that concerns some video games.

The country may ban games popular among young people called Counter-Strike and GTA.

This information was received from the press service of the republic’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, RIA Novosti reports.

It is noted that in order to comply with this restriction, the Ministry of Internal Affairs employees intend to carry out raids on various computer clubs and centers.

Law enforcement officials intend to insist on limiting the display of violent elements that fill the above-mentioned video games.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has made a corresponding proposal to restrict access to these products by parents of minors, since Counter-Strike and GTA show scenes of violence.

The Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan believes that such influence has a detrimental effect on the behavior of young people, as it demonstrates antisocial behavior.

In addition, the content in video games goes against the cultural norms of the state.
