University of Waterloo student Hudhayfa Nazurdinr reported that he was able to build a thermonuclear reactor at home using a neural network.
Nazurdinr noted that he had no experience in assembling such structures.
On his page on the social network X, the enthusiast wrote: "First I made a project, then I bought the necessary parts. I spent an average of a week on this."
As the student emphasized, he was able to obtain the necessary components for the reactor quite easily.
New development
Nazurdinr said he used a 12 kV neon sign transformer for his purposes. He also used a pump and an MKS-901p sensor.
The Claude program acted as a neural network assistant. According to the student, it was she who provided him with all the necessary information.
The enthusiast noted: "By the fourth week of experiments, I set the pressure to within 25 microns. This allowed me to obtain plasma."
Despite the fact that Nazurdinr did not achieve nuclear fusion, his experience could prove invaluable to scientists.
