Even healthy vegetables can be harmful to health under certain conditions.

The list included garlic, onions, leeks and cabbage.

If you fry them in olive oil at a temperature above 140 degrees, this will create conditions for the formation of trans fats.

Experts explained that this occurs due to polysulfides and isothiocyanates.

These are special sulfur compounds that are found in the listed vegetables.
