Indian scientists conducted a study and named products that reduce the risk of developing cancer.
The findings were shared by experts from Patanjali University.
They identified a whole list of products that have anti-cancer properties. They described this in more detail in a scientific paper for the journal Cancer Screening and Prevention .
Researchers have found that fatty fish, turmeric, legumes, whole grains, fruits, vegetables and green tea should be included in the diet of those looking to reduce their risk of cancer.
For example, fruits, beans, lentils, green tea are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that create a powerful barrier that protects cells from damage.
Whole grains (brown rice, oats, etc.) saturate the body with fiber. It eliminates carcinogens and helps regulate blood sugar levels.
Fatty fish (mackerel, sardines, salmon) are valuable for their omega-3 fatty acids. They have anti-inflammatory properties, which also prevents tumor growth.
