Users in Russia are complaining about problems with a number of VPN services.
So far, we are talking about free versions of programs that help Russians access blocked online resources.
RBC reports information about mass failures. The problem affected users of such services as VPN Proxy Master, VPN Free Unlimited, PureVPN and others.
The majority of users indicate that they are unable to connect or the service does not work at all. But this concerns versions that users do not pay for.
The Russians who encountered difficulties contacted the developers. They explained that the servers were overloaded due to high traffic.
As a solution to the problem, users are offered to switch to a paid version. The developers claim that in this case, the VPN service will work without problems.
The relevance of such programs in Russia may have increased against the backdrop of YouTube's slowdown.
Some users reported on August 8 that the video hosting service had completely stopped working on their devices.
